On Friday 14 February, the perfect day to discuss romance writing, four members of our Rainbow Writers Group – Judith Johnson, Jennifer Hoff, Ruth Morgan and Tina Rothbury – visited Lismore Regional Library to listen to Jenn J McLeod describe her rural romance writing journey.
After a lavish morning tea prepared by Library staff, Jenn briefly outlined her enviable nomadic lifestyle around Australia in Myrtle the Turtle, a 25-foot trailer, her entry into the writing life, and her writing routine. Then she went on to describe the individual themes and structures of each of her six books and particular events that prompted her inspiration for each project.
Jenn’s lively approach to writing and to life in general added an extra dimension to her presentations as did her images including a huge Droughtmaster steer reading one of her books!
Thanks Jenn, we’ll stay tuned to your writing adventures.
