Look who came to Goonellabah! The Rainbow Writers were fortunate to have spent one hour with Tony Park before he launched his new book “Ghosts of the Past” at the Goonellabah library. Judith Johnson, Ruth Morgan and Vanamala Mayr-Reisch, all members of the Rainbow Writers Group, interviewed Tony Park. During that interview, he not only generously shared some valuable tips and tricks about the craft of writing but also some wonderful anecdotes about his life as an author.
International author of seventeen books, Tony Park is well known for his gripping stories set in Africa. Every year, he spends six months at his second home on the border of the Kruger National Park in South Africa. No wonder that his books have such authenticity which transports you into the heart of this intriguing country. His outstanding skill to dive deep into the spirit of each character takes the reader on a journey of surprises. Is it a human or an animal who speaks? Where does the story lead?
